Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-10

1. Purpose

This policy protects our network, our customers, and the wider internet. It applies to every domain.ps service — hosting, email, and domains — and to everyone using your account, including your own users and clients. Violations can lead to suspension or termination as described below.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not host, store, or distribute:

  • Content that is illegal under applicable law, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
  • Malware, ransomware, exploit kits, or command-and-control infrastructure.
  • Phishing pages or content that impersonates other people, brands, or institutions.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages of any kind.
  • Attack, scan, or probe other systems, including denial-of-service attacks and unauthorized penetration testing.
  • Mine cryptocurrency, run open proxies or open resolvers, or otherwise abuse shared resources.
  • Resell services in a way that hides the identity of the actual user from us.

4. Email Sending Rules

  • All bulk mail requires verifiable opt-in consent from every recipient; purchased or scraped lists are forbidden.
  • Every bulk message must include a working unsubscribe mechanism and your true sender identity, in line with applicable anti-spam laws.
  • Keep complaint rates low: sustained spam-complaint rates above roughly 0.3% of delivered mail will trigger review and may lead to sending limits or suspension.
  • We may apply hourly sending caps on shared hosting to protect server IP reputation for all customers.

5. Resource Use on Shared Hosting

Shared plans are for typical websites and mailboxes. Sustained, heavy consumption of CPU, memory, or I/O that degrades the experience of other customers may lead us to ask you to optimize or upgrade to a plan suited to your workload.

6. Security Responsibilities

Keep your CMS, plugins, and scripts updated, and use strong passwords. A compromised site that starts sending spam or hosting malware is treated as a violation regardless of intent — we will notify you and may suspend the affected site until it is cleaned.

7. Enforcement Ladder

We enforce proportionally:

  1. Warning — for most first violations, we notify you and give you a deadline to fix the issue.
  2. Suspension — for unresolved, repeated, or serious violations, the affected service is suspended.
  3. Termination — for severe abuse (malware distribution, phishing, attacks) or repeated suspensions, we terminate the service without refund.

For violations posing immediate harm to others, we may suspend first and notify after.

8. Reporting Abuse

To report spam, phishing, malware, or other abuse involving a domain.ps-hosted service, contact us via the contact page with the URL or message headers and a description. We review every report and act on confirmed violations.

9. Cooperation with Authorities

We may preserve and disclose information about violations where required by applicable law or valid legal process.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as new abuse patterns emerge. Continued use of the services after the “last updated” date constitutes acceptance of the current version.
