Domain Registration Agreement
Last updated: 2026-06-10
1. Our Role
domain.ps registers .ps domain names as an accredited registrar of PNINA, the Palestinian National Internet Naming Authority, which operates the .ps registry. By registering a domain through us, you enter into this agreement with us and accept the registry’s policies, which apply to every .ps registration and prevail in case of conflict on registry matters.
2. Registrant Obligations
- Provide accurate, complete contact information (registrant, administrative, and technical contacts) at registration.
- Keep this information current — update it in the client area within a reasonable time of any change.
- Knowingly providing false WHOIS data, or failing to respond to verification requests, is grounds for suspension or cancellation of the domain.
3. Eligibility for .ps Names
General second-level .ps registrations (yourname.ps) are open to applicants worldwide. Some third-level zones are restricted to qualifying entities — for example .gov.ps for government bodies and .edu.ps for educational institutions — under registry rules. We will tell you during ordering if a name you request falls in a restricted zone.
4. Registration and Activation
Registration is completed at the registry as soon as your payment is confirmed, and is an instant, binding commitment — which is why domains are non-refundable once registered (see the Refund Policy). Check spelling and the chosen extension carefully before confirming.
5. Renewal, Expiry, and Grace
Domains renew automatically by default; reminders are emailed ahead of the expiry date, and you can disable auto-renewal in the client area. If a domain expires, it typically enters a grace period during which you can still renew at the normal price, after which it may enter a redemption phase with an additional registry fee before being released to the public. Exact grace and redemption windows follow current PNINA policy.
6. Transfers
You may transfer a .ps domain to us, or from us to another accredited registrar, using the EPP authorization code available in your client area. We do not charge a fee to release a domain and do not lock customers in — outbound transfers are processed without obstruction once the domain is past any registry-imposed transfer restriction window. Keep your contact email current, since transfer confirmations are sent there.
7. DNS and Technical Management
You can manage nameservers and DNS records for your domain from the client area. We are not responsible for downtime caused by incorrect DNS configuration you apply or by propagation delays following changes.
8. Suspension and Cancellation
We or the registry may suspend or cancel a domain for: false or unverifiable registrant data, non-payment, breach of this agreement or registry policy, use of the domain for abuse covered by our Acceptable Use Policy, or compliance with a court order or dispute decision.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes over rights to a .ps name (for example trademark conflicts) are handled under the registry’s dispute resolution policy, equivalent in approach to the UDRP. We will implement the outcome of any such proceeding, including transferring or cancelling a domain when so decided. Disputes between you and us about our service follow the Terms of Service.
10. Registrant Data and WHOIS
Registrant contact data is submitted to the PNINA registry and may be published in WHOIS according to registry policy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data; where the registry offers data-privacy options for WHOIS, we will make them available to you.
11. Changes and Contact
We may update this agreement to reflect changes in registry policy or our services, with material changes announced by email. Questions about .ps registrations can be sent via the contact page or your client area at my.domain.ps.
